A special 3-volley salute and the playing of TAPS capped off a special Memorial Day service yesterday at the new Washington Commons. Presented by the American Legion and VFW, locals gathered to honor our fallen heroes with guest speakers from the VFW and Washington Mayor Dave Rhoads and a special performance from Abbi Knepp. If you missed yesterday’s service, you can see the full program on our WAMW Facebook page.
