The Washington Police Department honored Captain Steve Mize on Friday as he officially retired after 23 years of dedicated service to the city. Throughout his career, Cpt. Mize served in numerous roles, including Patrolman, Sergeant, Captain, Crime Scene Investigator, and a member of the Emergency Response Team. His long-standing commitment to public safety and leadership within the department was celebrated by colleagues and the community. The department extended its thanks to Captain Mize for his years of service and contributions to the City of Washington.
