The Crawford County Economic Development Corporation has announced a $75,000 donation from Jasper Engines & Transmissions to support local economic and housing development initiatives. The funds will be distributed in three $25,000 installments—starting immediately, followed by another later this year, and the final in January 2026. Jasper Engines has operated in Crawford County for over 27 years and currently employs 436 associate owners at its Carefree facility. With an annual payroll exceeding $27 million, the company also contributes to the community through yearly grants to nonprofits and schools, chosen by its local employees.
