
A fire broke out in a two-story home at 205 West Main Street in Washington Saturday evening, with flames engulfing the second floor and reaching the attic. Emergency responders were dispatched at 8:29 p.m., and units from the Washington City Fire Department arrived shortly after to find all residents safely evacuated, with only pets remaining inside. Fire crews, assisted by off-duty personnel and utility teams, brought the fire under control by approximately 10:23 p.m. The fire was officially extinguished, and all units were cleared from the scene by 10:49 p.m.
