A little after midnight this morning, Daviess County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a residence on Old Highway 50 west of Washington. The caller reported that his daughter was blocked in the house and the man possibly had a handgun. At the residence Deputies detained 23 year old Colton James Barton. Barton was transported to the Daviess County Security Center and booked into the jail a charge of Intimidation and pointing a firearm.
