Knox County has hired an “Eclipse Director”. A total eclipse of the sun on April 8, 2024, will cover a large swath of southwest Indiana. Vincennes will have the longest period of darkness along the entire path. Knox County expects nearly 100,000 people to converge on the area next year. Sarah Wolfe has been hired as Eclipse Director to kick off the official planning efforts for the solar eclipse.
