A vehicle fire brought emergency crews to southbound I-69 near mile marker 57 yesterday afternoon. Dispatch records say a semi pulling a U-Haul trailer caught fire around 1:40 p.m. Washington Township and Washington city firefighters responded, along with county officers. Crews disconnected the truck from the trailer while smoke and flames were still coming from the trailer. The fire was brought under control, and no injuries were reported.
