The Daviess County Economic Development Foundation is inviting residents to attend a public meeting today to review initial recommendations for the county’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan. The open house will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Daviess County 4-H Building, with a 30-minute presentation beginning at 5:30 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to review draft recommendations and provide feedback on the plan. Organizers say public input is an important part of the planning process as the county works to improve bicycle and pedestrian connectivity throughout the area. A second public meeting is scheduled for September 2 at the Odon Community Building.
