
A Vincennes man was arrested Sunday night following a traffic stop that led to the discovery of suspected methamphetamine. According to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy stopped a silver Mazda driven by 53-year-old Douglas Gray at the intersection of 15th and Hart streets in Vincennes at approximately 8:45 p.m. A K9 alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle, prompting a search. Deputies reported locating 26.2 grams of a white crystalline substance that field-tested positive for methamphetamine. Gray was taken into custody and booked into the Knox County Jail on preliminary charges of dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, and driving while suspended. He is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
