The Miss Daviess County Queen Pageant will be held Saturday, July 11, at 7 p.m. in the Washington High School Auditorium. The event is open to the public, with admission set at $5 at the door. Organizers say proceeds will help support future pageants. Those unable to attend in person can listen to a live broadcast of the pageant on WAMW with DeWayne Shake. The evening will include the crowning of the next Miss Daviess County, remarks from reigning Miss Indiana State Fair Presley Hampton, and the presentation of the Miss Daviess County Pageant Scholarship, sponsored by Shelley Brinson of Century 21 Classic Realty.
