
United Way of Daviess County has announced its 2026 grant recipients, awarding a total of $70,000 to local organizations supporting health, education, and financial stability initiatives. Funded agencies include Youth First, Senior & Family Services, Generations, Little Warrior Wishes, DSI, the American Red Cross of Indiana, Girl Scouts of Southwest Indiana, REAL Recovery, RSVP Volunteer Center, and Junior Achievement of Southwestern Indiana. Officials say the organization has also helped secure more than $390,000 in additional grant funding over the past year for local programs, including healthcare, housing stability, and workforce development projects. More than $37,000 in additional funding is currently being pursued to support ongoing community needs.
