Loogootee baseball coach Scott Arthur was honored Saturday at the IHSAA Boys Basketball State Finals as the 2025-26 Outstanding Official of the Year. Arthur has been a licensed basketball official in Indiana for 34 years, working numerous sectional, regional, and semi-state games. In addition to officiating, he has coached at the youth and middle school levels and mentored young officials. The recognition highlights Arthur’s long-standing dedication to the sport and service to student-athletes across Indiana.
