
Indiana lieutenant governor Micah Beckwith recently visited Washington, touring several local sites and highlighting ongoing community efforts. During his visit, Beckwith met with local leaders to learn more about economic development initiatives in Daviess County. He also toured the Daviess County Museum, where he was given an overview of the area’s history. Beckwith additionally visited Powerhouse Ministries, where he learned about programs focused on supporting local students. In a statement, Beckwith praised the community’s leadership and growth, saying small towns like Washington continue to play an important role in Indiana’s future.
