A new retail clothing store has opened in Loogootee, offering a mix of new, boutique, and resale items for shoppers of all ages. Stacy Wilcher, owner of Stacy’s Place, recently celebrated a successful grand opening on March 13 at the Papa John’s Plaza. The shop features clothing ranging from newborn sizes through adult, along with shoes and accessories, with thousands of items currently in stock. Wilcher, who has more than 20 years of experience in online resale, said the storefront allows her to expand beyond platforms like eBay and Poshmark while still offering affordable, name-brand options. The store is open throughout the week, with additional hours available by request. Wilcher also says she is looking for part-time help and plans to continue growing the business, including launching her own clothing line in the future.
