Vincennes Lincoln will be looking for a new head basketball coach as Dave Mahurin has stepped down from that position. Mahurin has been the coach of the Alices since 22-23 after stops at Adams Central, South Vermillion, Rockville and Edgewood including a state finals appearance vs Loogootee in 2012 which the Lions won 55-52. Mahurin was 42-58 in his time in Vincennes and is 401-346 in 34 years as a head coach.

NFL FREE AGENCY
The 2026 NFL free agency period kicked off Monday at noon ET, where prospective free agents are officially able to negotiate with new teams. The Indianapolis Colts traded Michael Pittman Jr to the Steelers for draft picks, wide receiver Alec Pierce is set to return to Indianapolis after shopping around the NFL for four years and $114 million.
The Dolphins sign QB Malik Wilis to a 3 year deal, Tua Tagovailoa announced he’s signing with the Atlanta Falcons, while Kansas City is signing Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker. WR Mike Evans who has been with Tampa Bay for 12 years has reportedly agreed with the 49ers on a 3-year deal.
The Las Vegas Raiders are trading defensive end and five-time Pro Bowler Maxx Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for two first-round picks. QB Gardner Minshew is signing a one-year, $5.75 million deal with Arizona. Running back Travis Etienne signed with the Saints.
