The Beech Grove Police Department has announced funeral arrangements for Officer Brian Elliott, who was fatally wounded in the line of duty on Monday, February 16, while responding to a domestic disturbance. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 22, from 2 to 7 p.m. at Beech Grove High School. A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for Monday, February 23, at 11 a.m., also at the high school. Both events are open to the public. A traditional police procession with ceremonial honors will follow the service, traveling from Beech Grove High School to Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis. The official route will be announced at a later date. Attending law enforcement officers are asked to report in uniform to staging at the high school beginning at 8 a.m. Monday.
