The United Way of Daviess County is seeking business sponsors for its 31st Annual Day of Caring, set for Tuesday, May 12. Last year’s event brought together more than 600 volunteers from 57 businesses, schools, and organizations, completing projects for 20 local agencies and generating an estimated $93,000 in community impact through more than 2,700 volunteer hours. Sponsorships help cover event costs such as t-shirts, meals, and supplies. Businesses that contribute $500 or more by March 13 will have their names printed on the back of volunteer shirts and be recognized at the event, in the newspaper, and on social media.
