
A Petersburg man faces multiple charges after leading police on a pursuit Friday morning in Jasper. According to the Jasper Police Department, officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance near 2nd Avenue and Meridian Road around 8:45 a.m. When officers made contact with 51-year-old Ryan Lashbrook, he allegedly fled the scene in a Ford F-250, driving recklessly and nearly causing several collisions while refusing to stop for police. The pursuit continued and ended in the parking lot of Dubois County Community Corrections (257 Brucke Strasse). Lashbrook exited his vehicle, pulled his pants down and would not comply with verbal commands. Lashbrook eventually complied with verbal commands and was taken into custody without incident. Officers later determined he was impaired and transported him for medical testing before lodging him in the Dubois County Security Center. Lashbrook faces a Level 5 felony charge of resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, along with multiple misdemeanor and infraction charges, including Criminal Mischief (Class B Misd), Reckless Driving (Class C Misd), Operating While Intoxicated – Endangerment (Class A Misd), Operating While Intoxicated -Controlled Substance (Class C Misd), Operating While Intoxicated (Class C Misd), Public Nudity (Class C Misd) and Littering (Class B Infraction), Speeding (Class B Infraction), Failure to Yield the Right of Way (Class B Infraction).
