Lois Ruth Stuckey, 99, of Odon, Indiana, went to Heaven on Monday, January 26, 2026, at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon. She was born on January 31, 1926, in Santa Ana, California to Joseph I. and Lillie L. (Inman) Marshall. Lois married her first husband, Harold Arney, on January 17, 1943. He was killed in action on August 27, 1944. Lois married her second husband, Claude ‘Sam’ Stuckey on May 11, 1946, he passed on September 15, 2014.
Lois was a member of the Odon Christian Church and the Odon Eastern Star. She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her home and family.
Family left to cherish the memory of Lois include one son, Terry (Carolyn) Stuckey; one daughter, Cheryl (Bill Fortune) Stuckey; grandchildren, Kara (Jeff) Wilkinson and Susan (Troy) Slaughter; four great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Harold Arney; her second husband, Sam Stuckey; great-great-grandson, Kaden Krupa, and one brother, Robert Marshall.
Funeral services to honor the life of Lois will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon with DJ Healy officiating. Lois will be laid to rest in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon.
Family and friends may call from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home. An Eastern Star Memorial Service will be presented by the Odon Eastern Star immediately prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ketcham Memorial Center or a charity of your choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
