The Martin County Soil and Water Conservation District will hold its Annual Meeting and Dinner on Monday, February 9, at the Martin County Community Building, 2668 U.S. Highway 50 in Loogootee. Doors open at 6 p.m., with dinner served at 6:30 p.m. by Wittmer’s Catering. The featured speaker for the evening will be Mike Burkhart, a lifelong farmer and co-founder of the Travis Burkhart Foundation. Meal tickets are $5 for adults, and children 18 and under may attend free.
