City of Washington officials have rescheduled several meetings that were canceled Monday, Jan. 26, due to winter weather. A Public Hearing, Common Council meeting, and Board of Public Works & Safety meeting will now take place on Thursday, Jan. 29, at the Council Chambers, 200 Harned Avenue. The Public Hearing will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will focus on Ordinance No. 21-2025, which regulates rental dwellings within the city. Immediately following the hearing, the Common Council will meet to conduct regular business, including the final reading of the rental dwellings ordinance, introduction of two new ordinances, and discussion of the YMCA project. The Board of Public Works & Safety will meet immediately after the Council meeting to address routine business, including approval of minutes and claims.
