A traffic stop Tuesday afternoon led to two arrests after deputies discovered drugs and an outstanding warrant. According to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy stopped a 2006 Toyota Sienna around 1:23 p.m. on South Hart Street Road near Stagecoach Road after a license plate reader indicated the driver was suspended. The driver was identified as 31-year-old Joshua Graber, and a passenger, 42-year-old Peggy Baker, was found to have an active Level 6 felony probation violation warrant. During the investigation, deputies located methamphetamine on Graber and additional suspected narcotics inside the vehicle with the assistance of a K-9. Authorities also reported finding dried mushrooms in a pill bottle inside Baker’s purse. Graber was booked into the Knox County Jail on charges of driving while suspended, a misdemeanor, and possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony. Baker was booked on the probation violation warrant and a new charge of possession of a Schedule I drug, a Class A misdemeanor. All charges are allegations, and all individuals are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
