Knox County Commissioner Kellie Streeter has filed her candidacy for the Republican nomination for Indiana House District 45. The district includes all of Greene and Sullivan counties, along with portions of Daviess, Knox, and Vigo counties. Streeter says her more than decade of experience in local government and advocacy at the Statehouse has prepared her for the role. Streeter currently serves as a Knox County Commissioner and has previously held leadership roles with the Indiana Association of County Commissioners. She says her campaign will focus on public safety, infrastructure, rural healthcare, education, and protecting local control. The Republican primary election is scheduled for May 5, 2026.
