Purdue Extension Daviess County officials say recent news regarding the Elnora County Fair will not affect the Daviess County 4-H Fair or local 4-H programming. Extension leaders confirmed that the Daviess County 4-H Fair and the Elnora County Fair are separate events, and all 4-H activities will continue as planned. Officials say 4-H members will still receive the full county fair experience they have prepared for. Local 4-H leadership is also working to ensure community traditions continue and that Daviess County maintains representation at the Indiana State Fair.
