Washington Community Schools is offering a unique fundraising challenge tied to Monday night’s Indiana Hoosiers national championship football game. Superintendent Kevin Frank says if the school corporation raises $2,026 for the Washington Primary Playground Project, schools will operate on a two-hour delay Tuesday, January 20. All funds raised will go toward building a new playground at Washington Primary. Donations can be made at school offices, through students, at the Homecoming game Friday night, or online through Our Community Foundation. A final decision on the delay will be announced by noon Monday, January 19.
