Washington Community Schools Superintendent Kevin Frank says work is moving forward on a major addition and renovation project at Washington Primary School. During this weekend’s Focus on the Community program on WAMW, Frank said excavation is beginning and construction activity will increase in the coming months. The project will expand Washington Primary to serve preschool through second grade and include new classrooms, offices, music and art rooms, and a renovated cafeteria and kitchen. Frank also noted that the project will improve space at Washington Intermediate School by shifting second grade to the updated primary building.
