A 30-year-old Oakland City man has been arrested following a burglary investigation in Gibson County. According to the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called Sunday afternoon to the 7000 block of South 750 East near Somerville after a resident reported a shotgun had been stolen from the property. Deputy Michael Owens gathered evidence that identified Clay Pflug as the suspect and linked him to a green 2000 Dodge Dakota. Pflug was later located by Deputy Owens and Oakland City Police at a business in Oakland City. The stolen shotgun was recovered, and Pflug was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Detention Center. He faces charges of burglary while armed with a deadly weapon, residential entry, and theft of a firearm. All charges are allegations, and Pflug is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
