
The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian in the Odon area. Deputies say that around 5:15 p.m. on December 23, a person running along 1000 North near 700 East was struck by a vehicle whose driver fled the scene. The impact knocked off the vehicle’s passenger-side mirror, which investigators say belongs to a 2002 to 2006 silver Ford Crown Victoria. A witness described the vehicle as quiet and possibly displaying a handicap license plate.
