Vincennes city leaders recognized Knox County Commissioner Kellie Streeter during Monday night’s city council meeting for being named Indiana County Commissioner of the Year. Officials say it is the first time a Knox County commissioner has received the statewide honor, which was presented earlier this month at the Indiana County Commissioners Association conference in Indianapolis. Streeter thanked the council and community, saying the recognition reflects the strong partnership between the city and county and her commitment to serving Knox County across the state.
