NASCO Industries, a Washington-based manufacturer of flame-resistant rainwear and protective outerwear, has been acquired by National Safety Apparel (NSA), marking a significant milestone for the local company.
Founded in 1979, NASCO Industries has built a national reputation for high-performance protective apparel used by workers in utilities, oil and gas, construction, transportation, and industrial fields. NASCO is best known for its flame-resistant rainwear, high-visibility gear, and rugged outerwear designed to perform in harsh and hazardous environments.
The acquisition brings NASCO into NSA’s growing portfolio of safety brands and is NSA’s third acquisition of 2025.
Company leaders say the move positions NASCO for long-term growth while preserving its commitment to protecting frontline workers who rely on its products every day.
