Beginning on or around Monday, December 29, crews will close State Road 43 near Solsberry. This closure will occur over Richland Creek, between County Road 550 N and County Road 700 N. This road closure will allow for a bridge replacement project. This project will reconstruct the current bridge in a new location. This new location will correct a curve in the roadway the current bridge is on. Work is expected to last through mid-August of 2026, depending on the weather. The official detour for this project is State Road 54 to State Road 445 to State Road 45 to State Road 48. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure. INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert in work zones.
