A new fire training tower is now in operation in Vincennes, giving firefighters a realistic, hands-on training environment. Built last week on Perdue Road as part of a State of Indiana initiative, the tower allows crews to practice live-fire scenarios and advanced techniques. Local fire departments helped prepare the site and added features to expand its use. The multi-story structure supports training in search and rescue, ventilation, forcible entry, and rappelling, and is already being used during regular training sessions.
