Jasper Police have arrested 31-year-old Rajean Sanders and 26-year-old Kyle Noftle, both from Alabama, in connection with an organized theft scheme involving multiple Home Depot stores across several states. Police began investigating after spotting a suspicious Facebook Marketplace post offering large quantities of new power tools. Officers later located the pair actively stealing from the Jasper Home Depot on December 12. A search of their vehicle uncovered about $4,000 in stolen merchandise. A search warrant for their hotel room led to the recovery of an additional $15,000 in stolen goods, bringing the total to roughly $20,000. Most of the items were power tools traced to various Home Depot locations in multiple states. Sanders and Noftle face Level 6 felony retail theft, Level 6 felony theft, and Class A misdemeanor theft charges. Both were booked into the Dubois County Security Center, and police say more charges are likely as other jurisdictions continue their investigations.
