Giving Tuesday Daviess County returns on Tuesday, December 2, offering residents a full 24 hours to support local nonprofits through a countywide celebration of generosity. Our Community Foundation is once again providing a free online donation platform at localforever.org, where contributions can be made throughout the day. Participating organizations this year include Barr-Reeve Soccer Club, Discover Downtown Washington, First Choice Solutions, Little Warrior Wishes, Odon Winkelpleck Library, RSVP of Daviess County, United Way, Washington Band Boosters, Washington Baseball Club, the Washington Primary Playground Project, Youth First, and others. Donors may also contribute to any charitable fund held by the Foundation. Local media partners will highlight nonprofits based on donor participation, including Shake Broadcasting, the Washington Times-Herald, and the Odon Journal.
