It took overtime but the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Indianapolis Colts 23-20 in a game that the Colts should have won. Indianapolis led 20-9 going into the 4th quarter but the offense went into dormancy in their last 4 possessions without getting a 1st down. Daniel Jones was 19 for 31 for 181 passing yards and two touchdowns. Jonathan Taylor rushed 16 times for 58 yards. Linebacker Germaine Pratt was an absolute stud on defense collecting 20 tackles including 15 solo tackles.

Max Verstappen is back into contention for a fifth Formula 1 title in a row. Verstappen won the Las Vegas Grand Prix ahead of Lando Norris and George Russell on Saturday night. But Norris and his McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri — who finished fourth — were disqualified in the hours after the race for a rear skid plate violation.
