Discover Downtown Washington is encouraging residents to take part in two upcoming Daviess County Economic Development Corporation town halls focused on shaping the community’s future. The Quality of Place Planning sessions will give attendees a chance to share ideas, concerns, and priorities that will guide long-term development across the county. The first meeting will be held Wednesday, Nov. 19, from 4–6 p.m. at the Odon Community Center, 311 Park Street. The second session is set for Thursday, Nov. 20, from 4–6 p.m. at the Daviess County Museum in Washington. Complimentary charcuterie will be available at both events. Officials say the town halls will include project updates, a review of progress made since the previous 2019 plan, and opportunities for residents to speak directly with community leaders. Those unable to attend can still participate by completing the online survey. Find more details at the Discover Downtown Washington Facebook page.
