The Washington Lady Hatchets are gearing up for a big tournament this weekend in Corydon.  Some of the top teams in the state will be competing.  Washington opens against top ranked Borden in 1A tomorrow night.  Tip off will be at 6:30pm.  Catch live coverage from the Corydon Tournament all weekend on Memories 107.9fm.
The Indiana Hoosiers put up big numbers last night with four players in double figures as they cruised to a big win at home over Milwaukee 101 to 70.  Lamar Wilkerson led the way with 24 points.  The Hoosiers go to 3 and 0 on the year and return to action Sunday afternoon.
The second round of College Football Playoff rankings reaffirmed the possibility that the SEC sends not one, two, three or even four teams into the tournament but possibly five — or even six, if things get really crazy.  No. 1 Ohio State and No. 2 Indiana continue to lead the rankings out of the Big Ten. But then comes a parade of contenders from the SEC, starting with No. 3 Texas A&M, No. 4 Alabama, No. 5 Georgia and No. 7 Mississippi.  All four teams are potentially one more conference win away from locking down at-large playoff berths.  The Wisconsin Badgers and Indiana Hoosiers play on Saturday, at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington.  Indiana is a 30.5-point favorite over Wisconsin for the game.  Live coverage begins at 11am Saturday on the Razor 94.5fm WRZR.
In the NBA, the Indiana Pacers are in Phoenix tonight to take on the Suns.  Tip off is set for 9pm.
