Congratulations to Washington Lady Hatchet standout Katie Reed who has announced she will be continuing her education and basketball career with the Murray State Racers.  On Thursday after school Katie will be signing her letter of intent at the Hatchet House.

Washington Jr high Lady Hatchets opened this season on the road at Fort Branch middle school on Monday night.

7th grade  their first loss of the season.

8th grade  31-28 score.

ND girls traveled to SK last night.

7th grade won 43-21.

Cougars were led in scoring by Jalayna Knepp with 20 point. Followed by Avery Andrews with 16.

Volleyball

Barr-Reeve’s Lanie Graber, Addison Jones, Joslyn Knepp, have been named 2A First Team All-State by the Indiana High School Volleyball Coaches Association. Vikings Hallie Knepp and Mariana Van Der Aa were named Second Team All-State and Loogootee’s Jocelyn Sims earned 1A Second Team All-State.
