Light to moderate snow showers are moving across southwest Indiana and northwest Kentucky this morning and are expected to continue through 12 p.m. EST.
The National Weather Service reports a dusting to around one inch of accumulation is possible.
While most snow will melt quickly due to warm ground temperatures, slick spots may develop on bridges and elevated roads.
Wind gusts up to 30 mph could also reduce visibility during heavier bursts of snow.
Drivers are urged to use caution and allow extra travel time.
Snow showers are expected to move out of the area by early this afternoon.
