The City of Loogootee is kicking off the holiday season with a full lineup of festive events for all ages. The celebration begins November 29 with the Gobble Wobble 5K at 8 a.m., followed by the Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 30 from 5–7 p.m., featuring vendors and photos with Santa. On December 7, downtown Loogootee will host the Christmas Stroll from 2–6 p.m. with live reindeer, vendors, and Santa visits, leading up to the Dashing Through Loogootee Parade at 6 p.m. Holiday fun continues with ice skating at the park on December 19 (5–8 p.m.), December 20 (12–7 p.m.), and December 21 (12–5 p.m.).
