The Annual Veterans Day Parade in Daviess County is set for this Sunday in downtown Washington. Everyone is invited to participate and salute all our men and women in uniform. Linda Cornelius is the organizer and says cash prizes and a trophy will be awarded this year at the event…
The parade will step off at 4pm Sunday, with the lineup starting at 3pm at the Carnegie Public Library. The parade will go up Main Street like the Car Cruiz each year. The day will start at 2pm, with the annual Veterans Day Program at the Daviess County Museum as guest speakers and honored guests will be on hand. And after the parade, enjoy live music at the Commons. A free meal for veterans will be served starting at 11am at the American Legion in Washington.
