A Washington man has been arrested following an investigation into sexual misconduct allegations, according to the Washington Police Department. Detectives began investigating 34-year-old Carlos Rivera Del Valle on October 27, after receiving reports of sexual-related offenses. Rivera Del Valle was located and arrested without incident shortly after the investigation began. The case was developed with assistance from WPD Crime Scene Investigators, the Daviess County Department of Child Services, the Southwestern Indiana Child Advocacy Center Coalition, and the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office. The Daviess County Prosecutor’s Office has formally charged Rivera Del Valle with nine counts of child molesting and two counts of rape. Authorities say the investigation remains ongoing.
