An arrest has been made following a stabbing Wednesday morning in Fort Branch. Gibson County Dispatch received a call around 10:30 a.m. reporting an incident on South McCreary Street. According to the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office, at least one person was stabbed. A search warrant was later executed at the home and vehicle of Talon Jason Ray Guard, where officers reportedly found weapons, including knives used in the altercation, along with blood and DNA evidence. Guard was taken into custody and booked into the Gibson County Jail on preliminary charges of burglary, aggravated battery, and criminal confinement. The investigation is ongoing.
