Judith Lynn Perry, 67, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2025, surrounded by her
family at her home in Monroe City after a courageous battle with cancer.
Judy was born on October 9, 1958, in Vincennes to John C. and Elizabeth (Williams)
Joyce. She attended Lincoln High School, where she met her lifelong best friends
Melanie (Hill) Johnson and Tina (Ashby) Petts. Judy married Anthony (Tony) Perry on
April 19, 1976. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother “JuJu”. Judy loved
horses and her chocolate lab, Arlo. She enjoyed spending time with her Thompson
Family Clinic friends, gardening in her yard, family beach trips to Pass-a-Grille and Kiva
Dunes, traveling to Berea, Kentucky with her sisters, and most of all being a JuJu.
Judy is survived by her husband, Tony Perry; her children, Elizabeth (Libby) Perry and
Wendee Wegenek of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Carey Lynn Perry and Jessika Scallion of
Madisonville, Louisiana; and Caleh and Jonathan Parker of Fairhope, Alabama; her
grandchildren Addison Scallion, Ashley Parker, and Hayden Parker; her siblings Sue
Ellen Yancey, Carol Smith, John Joyce, and Sarah Joyce. She was preceded in death
by her parents; her brother Paul Joyce; and her sister Kathy Lane.
