Indiana moved quickly to make sure Curt Cignetti’s name wasn’t going to be a part of any coaching searches this offseason.
The school announced Thursday that Cignetti had agreed to an eight-year contract extension that averages $11.6 million per season. Cignetti is in his second season at Indiana, and the No. 3 Hoosiers are the highest they’ve ever been in the AP Top 25 after beating Oregon in Week 8.
