The Pike County Economic Development Corporation recently represented the county at the Site Selectors Guild Fall Forum in Indianapolis, an event that connects communities with top global site selection consultants. The Guild is the only association of the world’s leading site selection professionals, who advise corporations on business location strategies across all industries. The forum offers economic development leaders the chance to build relationships with consultants and promote their regions to potential investors. Ashley Willis, Executive Director of the Pike County EDC, attended the event through a scholarship provided by Hoosier Energy. Pike County officials continue to market the Southwest Indiana Megasite, which offers water, wastewater, electric, natural gas, and fiber infrastructure and is available for sale or lease. Local leaders welcome site visits and meetings with prospective businesses and utility representatives.
