The Washington Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred early Monday morning at the Marathon Gas Station on West National Highway. According to police, two male suspects entered the store around 2 a.m., stole items, and one displayed a handgun before both fled on foot toward the west, later believed to have crossed north across West National Highway. Authorities are asking residents in the area to review any security or doorbell camera footage recorded between 2:00 and 2:30 a.m. for potential evidence.
