The Washington Rotary Club heard from the new owner of Scooter’s Coffee, coming soon to Washington on Hwy 57. Kris Kassell is a 1994 graduate of Washington High School and found this opportunity to give back to the community. The drive-thru coffee shop will have a variety of blends and breakfast food items and other specialty drinks. Lots of rain over the past couple of months has delayed the opening a bit, but they are looking to open November 3rd. The new business will employ a full time manager and around 20 baristas making your coffee daily.
