Our Community Foundation will again lead Giving Tuesday Daviess County on Tuesday, Dec. 2, a 24-hour online fundraiser supporting local nonprofits. Donations can be made at localforever.org, where contributors may give directly to participating organizations or to any charitable fund held by the foundation. Media partners will offer incentives: the Washington Times Herald will honor the group with the most new donors, Shake Broadcasting will recognize the organization with the most donors overall, and the Odon Journal will award the nonprofit drawing the most donors from outside ZIP code 47501. The giving window runs 12:00 a.m.–11:59 p.m. on Dec. 2. Local nonprofits wishing to participate should email chris@localforever.org by Friday, Oct. 31.
