Four Arrested in Petersburg Child Predator Sting

A month-long online sting targeting child predators has led to the arrest of four men, Petersburg Police announced late Friday night. Officers used decoys posing as underage children on social media. After suspects engaged in sexually explicit conversations or attempted to arrange meetings, police moved in. Jason Loveless, 44, of Petersburg, was arrested for Level 4 felony child solicitation after arriving to meet who he believed was a 13-year-old. Andrew Brothers, 38, of Greencastle, Kyle Nelson, 30, of Princeton, and Logan McKinney, 34, of Huntingburg, were each arrested on warrants with assistance from local law enforcement agencies. Charges range from felony child solicitation to misdemeanor inappropriate communication with a child.
